10 Akron Street is a 150-unit residential building built in 2008 to house Harvard University graduate students.  10 Akron’s East common room underwent an acoustical mitigation project which included building a double layer gypsum wall that is adjacent to residential units as well as an acoustically rated ceiling system, amenities space upgrades, kitchenette, and decorative millwork package, along with lobby improvements, including the build out of an office and storage closet on the 1st floor.
