COVID Best Practices
Pidgeon and Co. is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, subcontractors, vendors, partners and clients.
We are regularly and closely monitoring the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and following safe work guidelines and recommendations of the CDC and other state and federal regulatory agencies.
This is not an all-inclusive Response Plan. Its purpose is to identify our potential workplace exposures to COVID-19 and to implement reasonable protective measures to help assure safety as much as possible based on recommendations and directives from recognized sources and healthcare agencies.

Pidgeon and Co. reserves the right to send home any employee or vendor who is deemed sick or at risk in accordance with the CDC guidelines. Employees should not report to work if they are experiencing any respiratory symptoms such as cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache or bodyaches. Furthermore, employees will not be permitted to return to work until they have been fever-free for a period of at least 72 hours. We have developed and will continue to evaluate in-house procedures and a list of general recommendations for our employees specific to these work areas. These practices and protective measures are based on our exposures and control methods suggested by the CDC, WHO, OSHA and other credible agencies.
Our greatest workplace exposure to COVID-19 will typically be from close contact with clients, customers, co-workers, other subcontractors, and the public who may be ill or symptomatic (that is: showing typical signs of illness – fever, cough, shortness of breath). It is of paramount importance to reduce and mitigate the possibility of exposure!
We will use details from our Response Plan, information from the CDC and other recognized sources, our clients, and our in-house procedures to train our employees. Communication will also include related postings, signage and access to other materials concerning COVID-19 and exposure control methods, as required.
